Document Scanner Pro is made by Sanibha Private Limited (“Sanibha”, “we”). This page explains what the app keeps on your phone, what we can see, and what you can ask us to do.
The short version
Your documents stay on your phone. The app has no accounts. We see anonymous usage counts, crash reports, your subscription status, and emails you send us.
What stays on your phone
- Scans, page images, PDFs, folders, and file names
- The text read from your scans and the search index built from it
- Saved signatures
- App lock settings and other preferences
We do not receive these.
Optional backup to your iCloud
If you turn on backup, an encrypted copy of your library is stored in a private space in your own iCloud account. The encryption key stays in your iCloud Keychain. We do not have it and cannot read your backup.
What we collect
- Usage counts. Anonymous events such as “a scan was saved”, tied to a random ID stored in the app, not to your name or email.
- Subscription status. Whether you have a subscription and your purchase history, tied to a random ID. Apple handles payment, and we never see your card details.
- Crash reports. Technical details about a crash, not linked to you, which are deleted automatically after a limited period.
- Emails. If you join the waitlist or write to us, we keep your email address and your message so we can reply and tell you when the app is out.
We use service providers for usage counts, subscriptions, crash reports, and email. They process this information for us and for no other purpose.
What we do not do
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not receive your documents.
Files you share or export
When you share or export a file to another app, Files, Mail, or Photos, that copy is outside Document Scanner Pro and stays where you sent it. We cannot delete it for you.
Asking us to delete your data
Write to support@sanibha.com and tell us what you would like removed. We hold only anonymous records and any emails you sent, so we may not be able to match an email to anonymous records. Your documents are on your phone, so you can delete them there at any time. Purchases and your Apple Account are managed by Apple.
Children
Document Scanner Pro is for people 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has used it, write to us and we will act on it quickly.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
